Secretary Clinton's Testimony, Senator Kerry's Nomination Hearing, F-16s to Egypt on the 2nd Anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution, and U.S. Involvement in Mali - What will U.S. National Security & Foreign Policy Look Like in 2013?
As Secretary of State Hilary Clinton testifies before Congress on the deadly Benghazi attack, American Enterprise Institute (AEI) experts ask: What will American national security and foreign policy look like in the second Obama administration?
In addition to Clinton's testimony, there are numerous other concerns and questions about U.S. foreign policy and national security.
Mali and Algeria: The U.S. pledged its support for the French-led intervention against Islamist militants in Mali and continues to investigate the situation in Algeria.
Egypt: The Obama administration is sending the first delivery of F-16 jets to Egypt around the 2nd anniversary of the Egyptian revolution which brought to power Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Obama's Cabinet: Hearings for Obama's cabinet nominations begin this week with Senator John Kerry facing his fellow senators for his confirmation hearing before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations on Thursday.
