other things, the recent turmoil affecting financial markets and structured investment vehicles, mortgage foreclosure initiatives, government-sponsored enterprise issues, federal home loan bank lending, initial public offering auctions, the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, and initiatives currently under consideration by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
At the luncheon press briefing that follows these sessions, SFRC members will issue one or more statements and answer questions relating to the topics discussed.
On Sunday evening, December 9, the committee will send out e-mail notices of the subjects that will be covered in Monday’s statements.
