Hardware and Software Requirements – Adobe Flash-based video webcasts – events September 2010 and after

You must have the following hardware and software components in order to view the webcast. If you have the requirements listed, then you are ready to view the webcast. If you are having problems, please contact your system administrator for help.

Computer:	Minimum processor and memory as recommended by operating system manufacturer
Operating System:	Windows XP, Vista, 7 MAC OSX
Browser*:	Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Firefox 3.x, Safari 4.x
Players & Plugins:	Adobe Flash Player 10 or higher
Audio:	Functioning sound card with attached speakers installed
Internet Connection:	A broadband Internet connection**

** Dial-up modem users can download event audio in MP3 format from event page or the podcast page.

System Requirements – Mobile Devices– updated September 2010

Events September 2010 and after

As of September 2010, users with the Apple iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch with an enabled Internet connection can stream AEI events to their mobile device directly from the event page or the AEI video page. Users of non-streaming enabled mobile devices may use the podcast page to download the event video or audio to their mobile device. For video files, the mobile device must support playback of MP4 files and the audio file must support playback of MP3 files.

Events Prior to September 2010

Prior to September 2010 dating to June 30, 2006, MP3 files of each event were made available. Users with mobile devices that support playback of downloaded MP3 files, can access these files. View the AEI podcast page for more information on accessing event audio.

Hardware Requirements – Microsoft Windows Media-based video webcasts – events prior to September 2010

You must have the following hardware components in order to participate in the webcast.

COMPUTER: Minimum processor and memory as recommended by operating system manufacturer.INTERNET CONNECTION: A 56Kbps or better Internet connection

SOUND: 16-bit sound card and speakers

DISPLAY: A VGA display set to a screen area of 800 x 600 pixels or higher and 16 bits of color or higher.

Windows Operating System Requirements

Versions supported: Windows XP, Vista, 7
Web Browser: Current versions of the Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Firefox browsers.
Note that slide synchronization is only possible in the Internet Explorer browser.

Microsoft Windows Media Player: You must also have the latest version of the Microsoft Windows Media Player installed on your computer.
