BiographyKarthik Kalyanaraman is a Visiting Research Fellow with the National Research Initiative at AEI. Kalyanaraman completed his Ph.D. in economics at Harvard before joining the research staff at CEMMAP and serving as an assistant professor at University College London. He is working on the development of tools to measure policy impacts with minimal assumptions and on understanding what makes social networks effective in maximizing output. He will also look to develop applications of econometric tools in taxation, development and healthcare policy. [CV]
