- Desmond Lachman has written extensively on the importance and gravity of the Greek and Eurozone debt crises, including what a Hollande victory would mean for Europe's economy. A former deputy director in the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Policy Development and Review Department, Lachman has also served as a managing director and chief emerging market economic strategist at Salomon Smith Barney. - Danielle Pletka is the vice president for foreign and defense policy studies at AEI and served for a decade as a senior staffer on the Senate Foreign Relations committee.
