America's version of capitalism has been much more dynamic than Europe's. Why don't Obama and Romney debate that?

The time is coming for Romney to get angry, very angry, with what is increasingly, quaintly called "the mainstream media."

Gagging Grenell was a bad play for the Romney team because it guaranteed the issue wouldn't go away. The only way to dispel concerns about the man's fitness for the job was to let him do his job. Muzzling him until he resigned was the worst possible way to handle it because all it did was feed crocodiles like Fischer.

We've never had a nerd president. White House correspondents call their gala the 'nerd prom' because it sounds self-deprecating around celebrities and bigwigs.

We're about to enter a very long campaign in which where an apparently squeaky clean Mitt Romney is going to be demonized for his success and dragged through the gutter. Meanwhile, Obama took cash from a true denizen of the gutter.

"The choice in this election is between an economy that produces a growing middle class and that gives people a chance to get ahead and their kids a chance to get ahead, and an economy that continues down the road we are on, where a fewer and fewer number of people do very well and everybody else is running faster and faster just to keep pace."

Community colleges are subsidized through direct state and local government appropriations and through student grant programs. Every student who drops out represents an investment loss by the taxpayers in that student's uncompleted education.

Getting into a contest with President Obama over who is a better friend of business is not the winner some might think. The water will get very muddy very quickly if Romney campaigns on who is business' BFF, especially when you consider that one of the things Romney did at Bain Capital was take businesses apart.
