AEI Resident Scholar Michael Rubin joins the show to discuss the failed coup attempt against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Michael is an expert on the Middle East including Turkey and has written several pieces on the recent coup attempt. In March, Michael published “Could there be a coup in Turkey?” which described why the situation in Turkey was deteriorating and why a coup attempt was possible.
